2024-09-27 # 12: Scrotes' Boat Zombie Stuff
We celebrated the Elf Queen's victory over the Lich King by christening (our? Captain Arley's?) ship, Scrotes' Boat. In the morning, at the request of the elvish embassy, we stayed in Queensgate to help secure the city. Starting from Hopewell shrine, we patrolled the wooded edge of the city. We discovered zombies feeding on a traveler's body. After we slew them, we followed the trail of a companion of that traveler, only to find Glunch back at the shrine.
Glunch reported that Mishra sacrificed herself to save him, and now he has located her brother, Urza in Santa Cora. Urza possesses the Planesweaver's Map. With that map, one called the Planesweaver can summon or move the Plane of Light.
But when Endra went to lead Glunch's companion's horse and carriage back here, he ran into more zombies. Too bad for the zombies.
Raxus and Endra secured magic items with icon benefits, and Mou5e used one to secure a full heal up for the group. We also learned that icons, while more powerful with their own items, are vulnerable to others wielding their item against them.
